PHD Spain has appointed Sandra Sotelo as Managing Director, leading the agency’s two offices in Madrid and Barcelona. Sotelo will be part of the Management Committee and will report directly to Joan Jordi Vallverdú, CEO of OMG.
Vallverdú said of the appointment: “I am confident that Sandra will successfully lead PHD, an agency with outstanding strategic thinking and a strong culture of innovation, creativity and teamwork, positioned at the very forefront of the industry.”
Omnicom Media Group chose Sotelo, who was appointed from within the organization, for her business vision and expertise in digital marketing, having worked as Digital and Direct Response Director at OMD for the past six years. Previously, Sotelo worked in the start-up Wishbuuk as Social Commerce Director developing their growth strategies. Sotelo will succeed Oscar Dorda, who is pursuing a new stage in his career.

Sotelo graduated with a degree in Advertising and PR from the Universidad de Alicante and completed the Executive Development Program at the IESE Business School.
