PHD Global’s Tom Mackenzie announced as WARC Media Awards 2020 judge

Tom Mackenzie, Global Innovation Director at PHD Global Business, has joined the Effective Use of Tech jury at this year’s WARC Media Awards.

The WARC Media Awards are a comprehensive set of awards that reward pioneering communications planning which has made a positive impact on business results for brands around the world. The Effective Use of Tech category showcases communications that have effectively used or combined emerging platforms or technology in the media mix, contributing to the overall business success of the campaign.

Mackenzie joins an international jury panel of 16 client-side and agency-side senior industry experts. PHD Canada and Touché!’s CEO, Karine Courtemanche, has also joined the Effective Channel Integration jury, while PHD Sydney’s Head of Digital, Amelia Ward, has joined the Best Use of Data jury.

The winners of the Grand Prix and Special Awards across all four categories – Effective Use of Tech, Best Use of Data, Effective Channel Integration and Effective Use of Partnerships & Sponsorships – will share a prize fund of $40,000.

Special Awards in the Effective Use of Tech category are the Early Adopter Award, the Most Scalable Idea Award and the Platform Pioneer Award.
