PHD wins 12 trophies at Festival of Media APAC Awards 2019

PHD left the Festival of Media APAC Awards with 12 wins, including three gold for PHD Australia’s “brilliantly humorous” campaign ‘Thrush: The Musical’.

The Australia team was the big PHD winner of the night, totaling seven awards – an additional gold for the ‘A little help with footy, like only Google can’ campaign; two silvers for ‘Pepsi Max Your Summer’ and ‘Corona Wave of Waste’; and a Bronze for the ‘First Timers’ campaign for GSK Children’s Panadol.

PHD Taiwan also took home a silver and a bronze for work across ŠKODA. PHD China won a silver trophy for ‘Zhonghua White Now | Smiles in the Spotlight’, while PHD New Zealand and PHD Singapore took home a bronze each for ‘The Best Freekend Christmas Ever!’ and HP’s ‘Office of the Future’ respectively.

  • Best Use of Talent: ‘Thrush: The Musical’, PHD Australia (Gold); ŠKODA x Handsome Dancer, ‘CoinciDance’, PHD Taiwan (Bronze)
  • Best Use of Traditional or Ambient Media: ‘Corona Wave of Waste’, PHD Australia (Silver)

The Festival of Media APAC Awards were held at the Aura Sky Lounge in the National Gallery, Singapore on 28 March 2019. It was a competitive shortlist with entries coming from 18 countries across the region.
