PHD Worldwide has announced that the global media network will be inviting Sir Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the World Wide Web, to be guest speaker on the Grand Audi stage at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity for “Sentience: The coming AI revolution”.

Introduced by PHD Worldwide’s CEO, Mike Cooper, the seminar will get delegates thinking about the far reach and incredible potential of AI, the road leading up to it, the risks and opportunities, the implications for marketing and how brands are likely to operate in this new world.

Mike Cooper said, “This is the first time Sir Tim will be giving his views on Artificial Intelligence and we are delighted to be bringing this industry exclusive to the festival.”

The Cannes Lions festival will also mark the launch of PHD’s next book “Sentience: The coming AI revolution and the implication for marketers”, which sees co-authors and contributors from across the PHD network explore the potential implications on the industry.
