Chris Walsh, PHD 2020
We are delighted to announce the promotion of Chris Walsh – currently PHD UK’s Head of Investment – to Chief Commercial and Operations Officer.
In this newly created role, Chris will expand his role beyond media investment – for which he will retain overall accountability – into a broader set of commercial and operational responsibilities across the agency, including areas such as new commercial partnerships and flexible working.

This new role allows him to apply his commercial acumen to the future of the agency, as well as giving him greater responsibility within the leadership structure.”
Chris said “It’s been amazing to have been able to contribute to the huge success and growth that we have enjoyed at PHD over the last few years. I am so excited that I now have the chance to build on that success further, working with the fantastic leadership team and continuing to evolve the wonderfully talented Investment team.”
Chris joined PHD from Manning Gottlieb OMD in early 2016 and quickly made his mark across the agency and the wider industry, including being named in Campaign magazine’s Top 10 Media Buyers for the past four consecutive years.
