Network recognised with five wins and two highly commended campaigns.
The PHD network has won five trophies and scored two highly commended campaigns at the 2022 M&M Global Awards.
The network won trophies across four categories for its work with Volkswagen Group in Taiwan, The British Heart Foundation in the UK, and InLesco (School of Sign Language) in Costa Rica.
The stand-out winner, ‘Break of Silence’ from PHD Costa Rica, picked up three trophies, including ‘The Collaboration Award’, ‘Best Campaign Led by Traditional Media’, and ‘Best Communications Strategy’.
In the campaign, the agency raised awareness of the challenges facing the deaf community in Costa Rica by creating the country’s first silent TV commercial break – 100% interpreted in sign language.
PHD’s two highly commended accolades included recognition for ‘In Our Image’ a campaign by PHD Sydney, for Google, in the ‘Best Communications Strategy’ category.
The wins came after PHD topped the shortlist, and maintains the network’s consistent performance at global awards shows in 2022. Earlier this year, the network won two Media Lions at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, and scooped 20 awards at the Festival of Media Global Awards.
The M&M Global Awards reward the best-in-class in international media and marketing. The categories focus on work in the industry from sectors ranging from finance and FMCG to automotive and sport, campaigns based around media channels, successful partnerships, communication strategies, and social impact.
